Hifz-Ul-Quran

“It will be said to the companion of the Qur’an: Recite and rise in status. Recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite.” [at-Tirmidhi]

MORE THAN JUST MEMORIZATION
We want to assure you that we are committed to providing the best possible learning experience for all our students. To achieve this, we have established specific prerequisites that all students must meet before applying for our Tahfiz program. Our goal is to ensure that your child possesses the necessary skills and meets our program's standards. If your child satisfies all of the necessary requirements, we encourage you to apply, and we look forward to the opportunity to evaluate your child for the program.

Age: Our program enforces a minimum age requirement of 7 years.

Quranic fluency: We require that your child can read the Quran fluently with correct pronunciation and has some background in tajwid studies.

Developmental readiness: To excel in our program, your child should be able to focus and learn independently for extended periods. This requires a high level of maturity and self-discipline.

Character and decorum: We hold our students to the highest standards of respect, etiquette, and conduct. Your child's behavior and demeanor should reflect these values at all times.

Motivation: A personal desire to become a Hafiz is a prerequisite for your child's admission. We do not accept students who are coerced or pressured to participate in the program.

Quran Tajweed & Tarbiyah

Tajwid & Tarbiyah After-School Program is committed to teach students the recitation of the Qur’an with tajwīd and instill within them the central and essential teachings of Islam which are obligatory on every Muslim to learn. This program is geared towards each and every Muslim boy and girl of our community. It is an ideal opportunity for school-going children to learn the recitation of the Qur’an, gain an Islamic education, and learn Islamic values and morals in a conducive environment.

MISSION
Our program not only concentrates on Qur’anic recitation with correct tajwid, but also on Islamic disciplines such as the seerah & sunnah of the Prophet (S), Islamic legal rulings, du‘as for various occasions, and prophetic narrations. The Seminary also strives to nurture students’ overall moral and ethical values, preparing them for leadership of the Muslim community.

Our goal is to instill in each student the love and understanding of Allah, his Prophet (S), Islam, and to develop a positive Muslim identity committed to his religion, family, and community.

CURRICULUM
The Qur'an recitation portion of the class is tailored to each student individually. Students who have no experience reading Arabic will begin learning to do so using the "Qur'an Made Easy" textbook. Those who have the ability to read Arabic will work on their recitation as well as memorization.
